Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 23 March 2026
These Terms govern your use of MusoNet. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1) About MusoNet
MusoNet is a platform for musicians, bands/projects, and industry professionals to publish profiles, browse the Directory, and connect. Some areas/features may require an active subscription.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
3) Accounts and security
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You must not use another person’s account without permission.
- We may suspend accounts that appear abusive, fraudulent, or harmful to the platform.
4) Profiles, content, and public visibility
You control what you publish. If you publish a profile, parts of it may be visible publicly (so others can discover you). Do not publish anything you do not want to be public.
You must ensure you have rights to upload or link any content (images, logos, text, music, videos).
- No harassment, hate, threats, or abusive content.
- No spam, phishing, scams, or attempts to mislead users.
- No content that infringes intellectual property rights.
5) Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation ends access immediately (and your profile may be taken offline where applicable).
- Fees already paid are generally non-refundable unless required by law or otherwise stated at the point of purchase.
Note: If you have a billing issue, use the Support page and include the email on your account.
6) Saved searches and share links
You can save Directory filters as “Saved Searches”. If you create a share link, anyone with the link may be able to open that saved filter set. If you delete a saved search, its share link stops working.
7) Third-party services
MusoNet integrates with third-party services for payments, email delivery, and security/anti-bot tools. We are not responsible for outages or failures of third-party services beyond our reasonable control.
8) Disclaimers
- MusoNet provides discovery and networking tools, but we do not guarantee auditions, gigs, deals, bookings, collaborations, or outcomes.
- Users are responsible for their own communications and decisions. Use common sense when meeting or working with people.
9) Liability
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, MusoNet is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data.
10) Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, harm other users, or threaten the platform’s integrity. You may stop using MusoNet at any time and can request account deletion where available.
11) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are meaningful, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above.
12) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction (unless mandatory law says otherwise).
13) Contact
